The little things in life that i really enjoy.

1) Taking a nice drive onto the highway and you roll down your windows and pop open the sunroof. The cd player kicks in and your favorite song starts playing. The wind is blowing hard in your face so you raise the volume up a few extra unnecessary notches. You start singing along completely out of tune at the top of your lungs. It's a beautiful day.

2) Getting home after a long productive 12 hr day at work and you just plop down on your couch with your clothes and shoes still on. You sit there with your eyes closed and you know for that moment, you are home sweet home.

Today I almost didnt make it to work. It's is heart breaking, very heart breaking but still I give it up to our New York Mets.  It was a terrific season and by far one of the most enjoyable and delightful ones for me . I felt so passionately about them and really grew to Love the group of guys that had anything to do with this ball club. You go through the ups and the downs, the good and the bad and that is all part of being a fan.

Last night I couldn't have asked for more. A pitchers duel of the ages, Chavez mind blowing grab to keep us in the game, and of course lastly with the bases loaded in the ninth inning . Our main man Beltran facing a ridiculous rookie that throws nasty, disgusting pitches. We just fell short.

As my many Yankee fan co-workers are telling me right now. Better luck next year.
